2026 marks 30 years in the industry for me as well as it being Katwalk Inks 12th birthday.
I couldn’t be prouder of what I have created, and the studio goes from strength to strength with every year that passes. With a little vision and a lot of hard work I created my dream of a studio that not only produces outstanding art but a place that is renowned for having an amazing atmosphere too. I always envisaged a studio that had more to offer than the norm, who’s artists are passionate about every piece of work, whether on skin or canvas, at Katwalk Ink we’ve achieved that. On a final note, my amazing team and I would like to welcome you to our studio. |

Hello, I'm Dean.
I've called the Birmingham area home for over fifteen years and have been tattooing throughout that time at various studios. I've happily settled at Katwalk Ink for the past nine years – time really does fly! I find that my best work comes to life when collaborating with individuals who have a clear idea of the piece they envision and how it fits on their body. This synergy leads to the creation of original and meaningful designs. In my artistic process, I draw inspiration from everyday cultural influences and the stories shared with me by those I've tattooed. Each person brings unique narratives and perspectives, enriching my designs with a broader context. Hi I’m Marcus
I have always loved art, creating it and viewing it. After finishing my degree in fine art in 2010 I decided to pursue a career in the tattoo industry. I have been tattooing for ten years now. After running my own studio in Warwickshire for the last six years I decided I wanted to work alongside some good artists, which is why I have come to Katwalk Ink. I do like to tattoo in several styles but ultimately my speciality is fine detail realism, fine art and illustrative designs. I especially like doing classical fine art pieces, and portraits. I love big projects, but I do like small ones too. Hey, I’m Reiss!
For as long as I can remember I’ve been drawing every free moment I’ve gotten. I found my love for drawing watching cartoons and reading comic books as a kid. From the age of 14 I knew I wanted to become a tattoo artist and I’m now so happy to be an apprentice at Katwalk Ink with all the talented artists that work here! I studied animation at Staffordshire University because I knew from day one that I wanted to focus on illustrative tattooing; I wanted to create tattoos that looked like they’d jumped right off the screen or out of a comic book. I’ve wanted to be a tattoo artist for so long because I’ve always wanted to create art that not only looks cool, but also will be connected to the person receiving it for the rest of their life! I love the idea of creating art that will stick with somebody, and giving them a happy and exciting memory that can last them a lifetime! I can’t wait to continue my apprenticeship here at Katwalk Ink and see where life takes me on my tattooing journey! |

As soon as I started getting tattooed, I knew this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I’m so lucky to have been given the opportunity to work at Katwalk Ink, where the guidance, support and advice I’ve received have already helped me grow so much as an artist. I’m constantly learning, developing my tattoo skills and pushing myself to improve.
